Families Forever

Families Forever is a voluntary program for foster, kinship and adoptive families, made possible through a grant from the MN Department of Human Services Child Safety and Permanency Division. Services are available for pre-adoptive, adoptive and foster or kinship families formed through transfer of permanent legal and physical custody. There are two Liaisons that offer 1:1 services to a family through weekly contact via in person, web based or phone calls. Parenting topics may include but are not limited to discipline, resilience, sexuality, self-esteem, safety issues and other relevant topics.

Monthly support groups will be offered in person or virtually to connect pre-adoptive, adoptive, foster, relative and kinship parents to develop meaningful connections with one another as well as share positive strategies and support for each other.  Family activities for both parents and their children to develop meaningful connections will be offered throughout the year.
