Program Coordinator – Community Outreach and Youth Prevention

In this role, you will lead outreach and partnership efforts across schools and communities within the PACT for Families Collaborative region. You will work alongside local partners to strengthen prevention efforts, support youth well-being, and help create environments where young people can succeed.

What You Will Do
• Lead community outreach efforts to build relationships with schools, local organizations, and community partners across a five-county region
• Support the Communities that Care initiative to promote youth well-being and reduce substance use
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings, trainings, and community conversations, including engaging youth and families
• Partner with schools and local organizations to expand access to prevention and early support strategies
• Help strengthen collaboration among community partners to align efforts and maximize impact
• Assist with gathering and using data to inform community planning and decision-making
• Serve as a liaison between local communities and state or regional partners
• Support communication efforts to increase awareness and engagement across communities

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Education, Social Work, Community Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Interest in community-based work, outreach, or public health
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple projects
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team
• A commitment to working with diverse communities and supporting inclusive, community-centered approaches
Preferred but not required:
• Experience through internships or volunteer work in community programs, schools, or human services
• Exposure to prevention, mental health, or substance use initiatives

Position Details
• Full-time, salaried position with benefits
• Starting salary: From $51,929 (based on experience, education, and training)
• Regular travel within the region; occasional statewide travel
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Flexibility for occasional evening meetings
