PRIDE 4, which operated for almost four years with funding from SAMHSA (Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration.), was one of five pilot sites funded nationally to provide services to youth ages 14-24 with mental health needs. These transition-aged youth worked with “coaches” who helped them navigate issues of maturing in a sometimes complicated world. In the 3+ years that the PRIDE-4 program operated, coaches served over 100 youth. PRIDE 4 continues to be a model for developing transition services—join us in this video that walks with the youth during their PRIDE 4 experience.
